Grumpy Wok ("the app") is made by TJ NOVA LTD. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
What we collect
Your progress (ladder level, figures, stars, badges, best times and scores, cosmetics) is stored only on your device.
Anonymous Hell Wok Challenge stats
When you finish a Hell Wok Challenge run (the wok that changes every hour), the app sends our server (zhualaogeapi.t-j.store, hosted on Cloudflare) three things: the hour, whether you won or lost, and how many seconds it took. Nothing in this message identifies you or your device: no account, no device ID, no advertising ID. We only keep the totals per hour (how many runs, how many wins, how many winning runs finished in each second), so the app can show things like "18% of tries beat it" or "#3 this hour". Hourly totals are deleted after 7 days. Like every website, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the request; we do not store it.
Sign in with Apple (optional)
If you sign in, Apple gives the app an anonymous user identifier and, if you allow it, your first name. Both are stored only on your device and are used to show your name in Settings. They are not sent to our servers in this version.
Game Center (optional)
If you are signed in to Game Center, your Hell Wok Challenge time, Speed Wok score and ladder level are submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards. Apple's privacy policy applies to Game Center.
Purchases
Optional purchases (Remove Ads, Laoge skins) are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details; the app only checks with Apple which items you own.
Advertising
This version contains no advertising SDK and no tracking. If rewarded ads are added later, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and ads will only be shown when you choose to watch one.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Settings ▸ Delete my data erases everything the app stored on your device. Deleting the app does the same. See Data deletion.
